AnonyFish makes room for honest conversations without public profiles. That freedom comes with responsibility: be respectful, protect people’s privacy, and help keep the discussion safe.
What belongs here
Questions, observations, everyday stories, humor, and respectful disagreement are welcome. Discuss ideas without turning a person into a target. Before posting, consider whether your words expose private details or invite others to harm someone.
What is not allowed
- Threats or violence: threatening harm, encouraging violence, or coordinating attacks.
- Harassment and bullying: intimidation, repeated unwanted targeting, humiliation, or organizing abuse of a private individual.
- Hate and abuse: dehumanizing attacks, hateful threats, or abuse targeting people because of characteristics such as ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Doxxing and private information: private telephone numbers, home addresses, identifying location details, or other information shared to expose or endanger someone. Do not ask others to uncover an anonymous participant’s identity.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another person, an organization, a moderator, or a public authority in order to mislead.
- Sexual exploitation: child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, sexual coercion, trafficking, or non-consensual sexual content, including text that facilitates these harms.
- Illegal transactions: offering, arranging, or facilitating unlawful goods, services, or activities.
- Spam and manipulation: repetitive promotions, coordinated flooding, deceptive engagement, or attempts to evade restrictions.
- Scams and malicious links: fraud, phishing, malware, credential theft, or deceptive requests for money or sensitive information.
Report a concern
Open the menu on a post or comment and choose Report. Select the closest reason and add useful context if needed. Report the relevant content directly while it is available; do not repost harmful details to draw attention to it. For a concern you cannot report in the app, contact safety@anony.fish.
Do not send or circulate illegal imagery or unnecessary personal information. A content reference, approximate time, and clear description can help. Reports are reviewed with available context; we cannot guarantee immediate review or that every violation will be detected.
Block and move on
Use Block participant from someone else’s post or comment menu to filter that installation’s content from your view. You do not need to learn the person’s identity. Blocking and reporting serve different purposes: blocking helps your own experience, while reporting raises a moderation concern.
How moderation works
Responses can include content removal, a content review, feature restrictions, or an installation ban. Some content may be held for review before it appears. Context, severity, and repeated behavior can affect the action taken. Anonymous participation does not excuse misconduct, and public expiry does not prevent review of a retained report.
If you believe a decision was mistaken, contact support@anony.fish with the reference or context available to you. Please do not try to evade a restriction by repeatedly creating new installations.
Adults only. Emergencies need immediate help.
AnonyFish is for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor is using it, contact our safety address. AnonyFish is not an emergency service; if there is immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
